Safety Tests for Toys based on Standards other than ST

The Food Sanitation Law of Japan prohibits manufacture, sales and import of goods that are
apprehended to be harmful to the human health or to violate regulations and standards.
Traders concerned are independently responsible for checking this matter.
See gSpecifications, Standards and Testing Methods for Foodstuffs, Implements, Containers
and Packaing, Toys, Detergentsh iJETRO page linkj

MGSL conducts tests gtoysh and gapparatus and container/packageh as a registered testing
laboratory under the Food Sanitation Law of Japan.  MGSL furnishes highly reliable tests
results promptly to clients by means of inductively coupled plasma - atomic emission spectrometer
(ICP-AES), gas chromatograph and high-performance liquid chromatograph

polystyrene, nylon, polycarbonate, etc.

¡Conformity inspection based on toy safety standards in Europe and U.S.

Analyses are conducted on graphic instruments, coloring matters and others based
on the standards gISO 8124-3 or EN 71-3h, and gASTM F963h.
Subjects Coating material, plastic, paper, cloth, metal, ink and lead of pencil
Analysis contents Migration of antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, mercury
and selenium based on the standards gISO 8124-3h or gEN 71-3h
Lead content based on gASTM F963h

¡Analysis on hazardous substances

Analysises on hazardous substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury and
hexavalent chromium based on RoHS directive restrictions , and such.
